Most Improved - These people should be chosen based on their relative improvement of skills in the sport of yacht racing over the past year. If you feel someone has really grown, improved 100%, they would be a good candidate for this award.

Best Crew - These people should be chosen based on their skills as crew members. A crew that never has to be told what to do, always attentive, interacts with others well, dependable, always prepared; in general, always in demand and invaluable aboard.

Sportsmanship - These people should be chosen based on their ability to be both good winners and losers, people who love just to participate, regardless of the outcome. Not necessarily skippers, these people stand out as people who know and follow the rules happily, people who understand the traditional, genteel nature of yacht racing, who never seem to involve themselves in disputes because they sail so cleanly.
